Launch of the ADPS Website

Chair of the Scottish Parliament's Cross Party Group on Deafness

Cathy explained the development of her own interest in deaf issues, which has led to her becoming chair of the cross party group.

She stressed her interest in the ADPS project and her commitment to its continuation. She said, "I will certainly be pointing out the benefits to the (Education) Minister and asking him to continue with funding".

Cathie began the launch of the website by congratulating David and Emily Healy for their work on producing the site and Frankie McLean for signing the BSL translations.

She pointed out the benefits of the website to a wide range of groups, including parents and professionals.

Emily Healy demonstrated navigation of the website.
