Children & Young People with Cochlear Implants

Update, April 2006 (no BSL translation available as yet for this update)

How many children have cochlear implants?  Are numbers increasing over the years?  The following information shows the increase.  Note that the questionnaire return rates are less in 2003/04, so the slight downward trend in 2003/04 does not necessarily reflect a downward trend in numbers receiving implants.
